1978) titled “What If Jane Foster Had Found the Hammer of Thor”, Jane assumes Donald Blake’s place in finding Mjolnir and is imbued with Thor’s powers. Upon saving Asgard from Ragnarok, Odin forces her to relinquish the hammer to Donald Blake so he can become the new Thor.

Kincaid was the mortal Odin based his ‘blueprints’ for Donald Blake on. It makes sense that Jane would then fall in love with him, even if she didn’t have her memories of Thor at the time. He and Jane went on to marry, have a son, and then divorce.

Thor’s major love interest as a god was the Lady Sif, a great Norse warrior who was Thor’s equal on the battlefield as much as she was in the bedroom. They have seemingly been ready to get married a number of times over the course of the series but it always falls apart.
