Ben 10: Alien Force, the sequel series to the original, introduces teenage Ben (15 years old), voiced by Yuri Lowenthal (replacing Strong).

The Omnitrix is a powerful device that Ben possesses which gives him the ability to take on the appearance and power of the being that he changes into….Ben 10 Battle Ultimatrix.

The first film is a regular animated feature called Secret of the Omnitrix. During a fight with Dr Animo, Ben’s Omnitrix accidentally sets off its self-destruct mode and Ben has to find the Omnitrix’s creator to shut it down and stop the evil Vilgax.

It was revealed in Ben 10: Alien Force that there was another reason for the creation of the Omnitrix. Azmuth tells Ben that the Omnitrix was invented to preserve the DNA of all living beings in the Milky Way Galaxy and restore them if they should ever become extinct.

The storylines alternate between that of eleven-year-old Ben (one year after the original series) and sixteen-year-old Ben (a few months after Ben 10: Ultimate Alien).

With the Omnitrix having been destroyed in the series finale of Ben 10: Alien Force, Ben Tennyson, now sixteen years old, must learn to master the powers of the Ultimatrix, a modified version of the Omnitrix which has the ability to evolve Ben’s alien forms into much more powerful versions known as “ultimate forms.” …

Albedo would later create a new Ultimatrix, one that (upon the acquisition of a Polymorphic Crystal) allowed him to change from one Ultimate form to another, without changing to regular aliens in-between.

In the new season – expected to premiere globally in the beginning of 2020 – Ben, his cousin Gwen, and Grandpa Max will venture to some of the world’s most popular destinations, including Italy, Japan and Mexico. Of course, there will still be new alien transformations, battles with villains, and more show staples.

On March 8, 2018, the series was renewed for a third season which premiered on February 23, 2019. On January 10, 2019, the series was renewed for a fourth season, which premiered on January 19, 2020.

A new Ben 10 film was officially announced by Cartoon Network on February 2020. The film’s first trailer was shown on July 23, 2020 at San Diego Comic-Con at Home, a replacement to the 2020 edition, which was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It premiered on Cartoon Network on October 10, 2020.
