Officially, the E3 2021 dates are June 12 – 15, although there are plenty of events falling outside of that too. The traditional E3 cycle has transformed into a full season of video game announcements, making the E3 2021 schedule more packed than ever before.

Public tickets for E3 2020 went on sale earlier this month, with the basic “Gamer Badge” going for $165. But there’s also a “Premium Badge” that costs a hefty $995.

Event history

In the absence of the annual E3 gaming convention, publishers and developers are filling the void with digital events of their own. On Friday, The Game Awards creator Geoff Keighley announced his E3 2020 replacement, Summer Game Fest, described as a blend of “breaking news, in-game events, and free playable content.”

Back in 2018, the company said that it was skipping E3 because it was looking for other “inventive opportunities” to connect with its own community.

The Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase will be streamed live on Xbox’s Twitch, YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook channels, and will focus “on games from Xbox Game Studios, Bethesda, and many game creators from our partners around the world.”

E3 2021, the biggest video gaming event is upon us and you can stream it live, this year. The Electronic Entertainment Expo, also known as E3 usually takes place in Los Angeles. This year the event will be held digitally between June 12 and June 15 owing to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The E3 2020 press conferences from Microsoft, Ubisoft, EA, and whoever else decides to have a presser this year will all be streamed online via Twitch and YouTube.

Confirmed E3 2021 publishers and events

Far Cry 6 is an upcoming first-person shooter game developed by Ubisoft Toronto and published by Ubisoft. It is the sixth main installment of the Far Cry series for Amazon Luna, Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Stadia. The game is set to be released on October 7, 2021.

Fable is coming back to Xbox with Playground Games at the helm, but the franchise revival is not likely to magically appear from nowhere in 2021. Fans of the Fable series were more than underserved in the Xbox One generation.

According to Lemke, Microsoft wanted to “focus its investment and development on the games and franchises that fans find most exciting and want to play.” Fable Legends’ cancellation may have been purely a business move, born from a desire to save as much money as possible.

During today’s showcase, Microsoft finally made it official: Fable is back. Developed by Playground Games, the Microsoft-owned studio behind Forza Horizon, the upcoming Fable is a fresh start for the series. The trailer didn’t reveal much more than that, but it’s still big news!

Fable Anniversary is basically the Lost Chapters, but with updated graphics and controls. Their content (story, quests, etc) is the same. First there was Fable…then there was Fable: the Lost Chapters, which added some new quests and additional content, and was for the original X-Box.

I would suggest Anniversary, but keep in mind that even though Fable 3 might be the worst, experience is subjective and you might have more fun playing Fable 3. Anniversary is a remaster of a 2004 game, so it might feel a little jarring to play a game that old, compared to the more familiar game you’ve played before.

Fable does have an overall plot but the games are placed so far apart it doesn’t hurt to play them out of order. I would, however, play them in order since one of the reoccurring characters first shows up in Anniversary and you won’t feel the full affect of one of the characters actions that shows up in 2 if you don’t.

If you’re a completionist, no. It gets REALLY boring. If you want that style of combat, you’re better off playing Kingdoms of Amalur, which is a much longer and deeper game. Fable is okay, but it’s a linear and fairly short game.

Some of the most famous fables include:

• The fox and the grapes. This fable is the origin of the phrase “sour grapes.” A fox spies a bunch of grapes high up on a branch and wants them badly.
• The lion and the mouse. A lion catches a mouse, who begs to be let go.
• The tortoise and the hare.
• The fox and the crow.

Storywise 1 and 2 are miles apart. But at least playing 2 before three could be usefull, also because some choices in Fable 2 can affect the gameworld in Fable 3, though it is no requirement.
