Springtime: Check Your Tire Pressure! Most Harley-Davidson® motorcycles are equipped with Dunlop® tires; the tire pressures (cold) should be 36psi front and 40psi rear.

A 150 is stock on the rear. Its also the widest tire recommended for that 3 inch wide rim.

Your rear tire should last between 9,000 to 10,000 miles with normal riding. The front tire should last between 19,000 to 20.000 miles with normal riding. On average, the front tires on a typical sports bike should last 3700 miles.

Age of the Tire To this end, different manufacturers give you different answers. However, if you are looking for a ballpark figure, generally the average front tire of a sportbike lasts 3700 miles. Rear tires tend to need to be changed much more frequently, and the ballpark figure here is closer to 1800 miles.

Part of planning a good motorcycle trip is figuring out how many miles to ride in a day. Most riders can handle about 250 – 300 miles on average in one day.

It really depends. A motorcycle engine with 40,000 to 50,000 miles is considered a high-mileage bike in some circles. But if this particular motorcycle has complete maintenance records, has no evidence of physical damage, and the engine has no oil leaks, then this is considered a good buy.
