Age regression occurs when you mentally retreat to an earlier age. In all ways, you believe you’re back at that point in your life, and you may exhibit childish behaviors, too. Some people choose to revert to a younger age. In this case, it can be a coping mechanism to help them relax and eliminate stress.

Some people can only get in to littlespace around their caregivers or other littles, so this is definitely one to try out if you’re struggling! If you don’t know any other littles, even talking to other littles online or watching a youtube video of someone else in littlespace can work just as well.

How do you know if you’re a little

1. Perhaps around perceived authority figures such as parents, teachers, or bosses.
2. Perhaps around very close, trusted friends or partners.
3. Perhaps any and every time you are alone.
4. Perhaps often when feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or given a responsibility.

“Little space” is a term used to describe the headspace someone goes into when they “regress”, or “go into the mindset of” a younger age. The regression can vary, some only regressing to a middle schooler, and some to the mindset of a baby.

These are a few of my triggers;

1. Being called cutesy names.
2. Eating “little meals” or “little snacks”.
3. Being helped or told what to do.
4. Spelling and counting.
5. Strong emotions (usually negative).
6. Certain clothes.

Little space

1. Little space is the place your little goes when they go into their mind space. Littles have a certain mind space that is younger than their physical age.
2. You will have a certain role as their caregiver. Littles need someone to take care of them and will depend on you.
