When planning a call between Madrid and London, you need to consider that the cities are in different time zones. Madrid is 1 hour ahead of London. If you are in Madrid, the most convenient time to accommodate all parties is between 10:00 am and 6:00 pm for a conference call or meeting.

In general the working day in Spain is split into two halves, the day commences at 9am until 2pm and 5pm to 8pm, with the famous “siesta” in between. Like elsewhere in Europe, the working week runs from Monday to Friday, except in hospitality and retail (see below).
