DoubleTree by Hilton DoubleTree focuses less on flashy and more on comfort and friendliness. The hotels aren’t outstanding, but they do give you a warm chocolate chip cookie at check-in.

DoubleTree by Hilton is an American hotel chain and a part of Hilton Worldwide. Most DoubleTree hotels are independently owned and operated by franchisees, but some are managed by Hilton Worldwide.

The Hilton Honors program is divided into four membership levels: Member, Silver, Gold and Diamond.

Diamond

The Hilton Honors program’s top tier is Diamond status, typically earned after 30 stays or 60 nights or by earning 120,000 base points in a calendar year (which equates to $12,000 in spending).

At the top, you have the Flexible Rate which would normally be $139 per night. As a Hilton Honors member, you can get that same Flexible Rate for $132 per night. Clicking the ‘More Prices…’ link brings up some additional options. These include the Advance Purchase Rate of $118 for non-members and $115 for members.

Dream Away / Travel and Save When available, this rate provides a discount off of the hotel’s Flexible Rate (up to 10% off in APAC, up to 15% off in EMEA and up to 25% off in the Americas). Rate provides early check in and late check out, where available by property.

Terms and Conditions. Our Best Flexible Rate is the best and least restrictive publicly available rate for that room type at the time of reservation. While lower rates may be available, they will require payment at time of booking, a minimum length of stay or will be non-refundable.

Because the rate is flexible, you have the flexibility to change or cancel the reservation if plans change. If the nightly rate drops at the same hotel (or other nearby hotels), you can take advantage of the lower rates.

A flexible exchange-rate system is a monetary system that allows the exchange rate to be determined by supply and demand. Every currency area must decide what type of exchange rate arrangement to maintain. Between permanently fixed and completely flexible however, are heterogeneous approaches.

For example, rooms booked with the hotel’s “flexible rate” can be cancelled up to the day before arrival without charge. The rooms of new type are already available for booking and are marked as Semi-Flex or Prepay Restricted. Guestrooms of this type are offered on special rates.
