The 2007 Camry offers two engine options. A 2.4-liter inline four creates 158 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 161 pound-feet of torque at 4,000 rpm. A 3.5-liter V6 makes 268 horsepower at 6,200 rpm and 248 pound-feet of torque at 4,700 rpm. The V6 gets an EPA-estimated 19 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway.

The four-cylinder engine is standard on the L, LE, SE, XLE, and XSE trims. The V6 is standard on the TRD trim and available on the XLE and XSE trims. Every Camry comes standard with FWD, but AWD is available (for the first time since 1991) on the LE, SE (Nightshade Edition included), XLE, and XSE trims.
