A serial number is a unique identifier assigned incrementally or sequentially to an item, to uniquely identify it. Serial numbers need not be strictly numerical. They may contain letters and other typographical symbols, or may consist entirely of a character string.

Original and copy of Kenyan Certificate of Registration. Copy of Naturalization Certificate. Original and copy of Valid Kenyan passport of the applicant. The original 1st generation Identity card (Requirement for holders of 1st generation Identity card)

To check your ID status, create a new text message and type the serial number of your ID. Send the message to 20031 and wait for a reply confirming the status. If ready, you can visit your DO’s office to collect the ID card. Note: The SMS will cost you Ksh 5.

Although we do not have a system for applying for the Id online, the government together with the agencies involved have created certain websites where one can get the forms required when wants to apply for the identity card.

Please visit your nearest Western Cape Home Affairs office to get one of these. All South Africans can now apply for the new Smart Identity card which replaces the green bar-coded identity document. The smart card IDs can only be issued at offices where the live capture system is in place.

How to book an appointment

1. Go to hudumakenya.go.ke from your device.
2. Select Book Appointment from the hamburger menu.
3. You will be prompted to enter your credentials (ID as username and password)
4. If you do not have an account, you can create one in under a minute.
5. The system will then send you an activation code.

NIN issuance The normal time frame for issuance of National Identification Number (NIN) Slip is 2 to 3 working days from the time the biometric details are captured at enrolment centers. The issuance of NIN may take longer in certain cases due to validation of details at NIMC.

Walk into the nearest NIMC Enrolment Centre with your BVN if you have one and any of the following required Original and Valid supporting documents:

• Old National ID Card.
• Driver’s License.
• Voter’s card (Temporary or Permanent)
• Nigerian International passport.
• Certificate of Origin.

To download your enrolment form online go to www.nimc.gov.ng. Fill all forms in block letters and proceed to the nearest enrolment Centre for biometrics capturing in order to obtain the National Identification Number (NIN). Note: you can also pick up an enrolment form at NIMC’S ERC.

You can now enrol for your National Identity Number at designated Zenith Bank branches. Visit www.zenithbank.com/nin to view the list.

Apply In-Person To apply for a National Identification Card in person, the applicant must visit any nearest Enrolment Centre of the National Identification Management Commission. You can also find the enrolment centres’ locations present all over Nigeria in the above link.

Just like any other payment card, the eID has a five year expiry date, in compliance with the ICAO and EMR (banking) standards.

Managed by the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), the enrollment, issuance of the NIN (National Identification Number*) and ID card are free of charge.

Non-driver identification card: $20.00, although there is no cost to persons aged 65 or older or ex-offenders released within six months of their application. Social Security card or replacement card: ALWAYS FREE. D.C. birth certificate: The fee for the original long-form certificate is $23.00.

The United States passport itself also may serve as identification. However there is no official “national identity card” in the United States, in the sense that there is no federal agency with nationwide jurisdiction that directly issues an identity document to all US citizens for mandatory regular use.

For badging purposes—Two forms of identification (such as a state driver’s license, state identification card, U.S. Passport, military ID card, birth certificate, or Social Security card). For I-9 purposes—You must choose from the List of Acceptable Documents : One document from List A, or.

In the event you arrive at the airport without valid identification, because it is lost or at home, you may still be allowed to fly. TSA recommends that you arrive at least two hours in advance of your flight time. If your identity cannot be verified, you will not be allowed to enter the screening checkpoint.

Social Security will want proof of your identity. If you were born outside of the United States, you must show proof of your U.S. citizenship or current lawful immigration status. You can show them your: U.S. driver’s license, ▪ U.S. state-issued non-driver ID card, or ▪ U.S. passport.

You can use any document from the following list, as long as it has not expired.

• State identification (ID) card.
• Driver license.
• US passport or passport card.
• US military card (front and back)
• Military dependent’s ID card (front and back)
• Permanent Resident Card.
• Certificate of Citizenship.
• Certificate of Naturalization.
