The Mercy of Allah is that ethereal quality that also embodies gentleness, care, consideration, love and forgiveness. When these qualities are observable in this world, they are a mere reflection of Allah’s mercy towards His creation.

The attributes of Allah Fair and just – Allah judges everyone equally. Immanent – Allah is close to every human and within all things on Earth. Omnipotent – Allah is all-powerful. Merciful – Allah shows compassion and mercy , and he forgives people.

Despair not of the Mercy of Allah: for Allah forgives all sins: for He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. Again, God says to the believers in a Hadith Qudsi: “O son of Adam, so long as you call upon Me, and ask of Me, I shall forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind.

That is where the Arabic definition of mercy comes from. It entails love and care. Allah takes care of us when we cannot take care of ourselves. He is making our hearts beat without us having any control of it.

The Qur’an considers shirk as a sin that will not be forgiven if a person dies without repenting of it.
