UPDATED 10/9: I received some questions about how far in advance you can inflate the balloons. You can blow them up 1-2 days before and keep the garland indoors (the heat causes them to shrink) until your party. A lot of the balloons will stay inflated much longer but they will look the best this way!

Q. Is blowing up a balloon good for you?

Q. Does blowing balloons help lose weight?

Balloons come in small packages that look like baby corns and are inserted via endoscopic technique (camera through the mouth). After insertion, they are filled with saline and left inside the stomach. They induce early satiety and hence help in weight loss of 15-20kgs over 5-6 months.

Q. Can you make a balloon arch without helium?

Best of all – no helium required! Simply string the balloons together and hang or knot together and tie to wall depending on your desired look. Q. Why do balloons deflate after a few days?

The small, individual helium molecules can escape through the tiny holes in the latex far more easily than the conjoined oxygen or nitrogen molecules can. Eventually they’ll all get out, but the helium has a much easier time escaping. This is why your helium balloons deflate faster than the ones you fill with air.

11” latex balloons generally last between 12-20 hours filled with helium, and about 2-3 days when treated with Hi-Float. Foil balloons last approx. 5-7 days.

Q. How long do foil balloons last with helium?

Foil Balloons – Foil balloons hold helium well as they are non porous, the helium usually escapes from the valve over time rather than the surface of the balloon. Because of this foil balloons have a long float time and can last for 2 to 3 weeks or more.
