If you’re just starting out on a path to fitness, investing in a wearable like the Polar Unite that can help encourage you to get moving is a smart move. You can check the battery level status from Polar Beat, the mobile training app. Go to Settings > HR sensor to see the status. The battery (CR 2025) can last up to 400 hours with daily one hour heart rate training sessions.

The M430 has three options for accuracy when recording GPS activities, with the highest-accuracy option taking a GPS reading every second. You’ll get eight hours of juice in high-accuracy mode. In medium accuracy GPS is plotted every 30 seconds, and in low power mode it’s every 60 seconds.

Polar A360: No GPS The Polar A360 doesn’t have a GPS sensor. You can’t connect the tracker to GPS via your smartphone either. That means the A360 measures your speed and distance walked based on the frequency and intensity of your wrist movement.

If you have trouble syncing, try these steps one at a time: Turn Bluetooth off and on from your mobile Android or iOS device and try again. Restart the mobile device and try to sync again. Bluetooth connections from your A360 by pressing and holding the side button to get to the Control menu.

At the end of the battery’s life cycle, the entire device must be replaced. If your device is not listed above, please contact your local Polar service for battery change. When changing the battery, replace the sealing ring if it seems damaged. Please refer to user manual for closer instructions.

Go to flow.polar.com/start and install the FlowSync software to set up your A360 and update the firmware if needed. Push down the top part (A) of the USB cover inside the bracelet to access the micro USB port and plug in the supplied USB cable (B). Don’t charge the device when its USB port is wet.

Unlike the Polar Loop and Loop 2, the A360 can deliver on the spot bpm (beats per minute) readings and can be used for dedicated heart rate based training. It’s also the first tracker from Polar to include a touchscreen display, giving it the look and feel of a Microsoft Band 2, rather than a Fitbit Charge HR.

Don’t charge the device when its USB port is wet. If the USB port of your A360 has gotten wet, let it dry up before plugging in. Plug the other end of the cable into the USB port of your computer for setup and charging the battery (C).
