3. Merging the Documents

1. Open the PowerPoint presentation and Select a slide where you want to add slides from another presentation.
2. Click on the review tab appearing at the top.
3. Click on the compare button in the compare group.
4. Browse and select another presentation you want to merge and then select Merge.

To select a contiguous range of slides, click the first slide, hold down the shift key and then click the last slide. To select multiple, noncontiguous slides, hold the Command key down and then click the slides you want to select.

To select multiple slides: Press and hold Ctrl, and in the pane on the left, click each slide that you want to move. Release the Ctrl key, and then drag the selected slides as a group to the new location.

Each slide will be saved as a separate file.

1. In the slide thumbnail tab, on the left side of the PowerPoint window, select the slide you want to save.
2. On the Edit menu, select Copy.
3. Click File > New Presentation.
4. On the Home tab, select the down arrow next to the Paste button, and then select Keep Source Formatting.

1. Tap the slide that you want to send.
2. On the command bar, tap Share.
3. Choose Picture (to send a picture of the slide) or Presentation (to send a one-slide . pptx file).
4. Choose the app that you want to send the picture with.

If you want to separately use files or objects from a PowerPoint presentation, such as videos, photos, or sounds, you can extract them by converting the presentation to a “zipped” file folder.

After opening up the PPT file you wish to export to JPEF images; click on the Office Button and select the Save As hierarchal menu followed by Other Formats. In the Save As window, click on the Save as type: menu and select the JPEG File Interchange Format (*. jpg).

Export your slides as pictures

1. Click File > Export.
2. On the File Format menu, select the picture format that you want, such as JPEG or PNG.
3. Select either Save Every Slide or Save Current Slide Only. You may also enter a size for your slide images in the Width and Height boxes.

Go to Insert> Slides From> Other Presentation. Navigate to & select the file containing the slide you want….To create a PDF from the new file;

1. Go to File> Save as Pictures.
2. Enter a Name & Location.
3. Select PDF from the upper section of the Format: dropdown.
4. Click Save.

In PowerPoint, open your slide presentation, and then open the slide that you want to export. On the File menu, select Save As. In the Save as type box, select one of the following picture formats: GIF Graphics Interchange Format (.

Scan your slides on a flatbed scanner The scanner you use to digitize documents and photographs can also transfer your slides into digital images. This method produces only medium-quality images because the small size of slides creates images of lower resolution.

Method 2

1. In the existing file, select the slide you want.
2. Go to File> Print.
3. Choose the Selected Slides option.
4. Select any other Print options as preferred.
5. Click the PDF button.
6. Select Save as PDF.
7. Specify Name & Location.
8. Click Save.

For PowerPoint 2016/2013:

1. Open your PowerPoint and click on File.
2. Click on Export, choose Create PDF/XPS Document, then click on the box that says Create PDF/XPS.
3. Make sure Save as type: says PDF (*.
4. Under Publish options, change the Publish what: drop-down to Handouts, and then change Slides per page to 3.
5. Click on OK.

On your Mac it’s just a matter of:

1. File> Print.
2. Select the Handouts (2 slides per page) Layout.
3. Click the PDF button & select Save As PDF.

The following are directions for Mac:

1. Choose File –> Print.
2. Select Microsoft PowerPoint from the pull down menu that is defaulted to General.
3. Choose Handouts under the ‘print what:’ category.
4. Select the number of slides per page you desire.
5. Select Print.
