We thank you for the strength you give us each day. Lord, we intercede for those that do not have shelter of their own. Lord, bless them with protection from the elements, bless them to have sufficiency of food and clothing, bless them with joy and peace of mind.

People become homeless for lots of different reasons. There are social causes of homelessness, such as a lack of affordable housing, poverty and unemployment; and life events which push people into homelessness. People are forced into homelessness when they leave prison, care or the army with no home to go to.

It makes you feel good! They appreciate it and it gives them hope. They can’t change their lives without you. Good things happen to you when you do good for others.

In Leviticus 25:35 (King James Version of the Bible), God tells the people (and tells us) : “THOU SHALT RELIEVE HIM, YEA, THOUGH HE BE A STRANGER, OR A SOJOURNER; THAT HE MAY LIVE WITH THEE”. A “sojourner” is defined as : “a temporary resident”, in other words a “transient”.

“God The Father, I pray for a home sweet home Blessing for those who needs a new place to live, I pray for money in abundance to move, I pray for financial miracles to move, I pray that you will move immediately, and I pray that you be Blessed with extreme happiness, In the name of The Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.”

In the Bible, God speaks often of the poor and needy. He commands us to give generously to the less fortunate and to speak up on their behalf. When we study what God says about giving to the poor, we can see His heart and understand the important responsibility God has given to us.

2 Corinthians 9:10-15 You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. And in their prayers for you their hearts will go out to you, because of the surpassing grace God has given you.
