If you are using a 70% isopropyl alcohol you need to change the proportions to this:

Isopropanol (or isopropyl alcohol) is most commonly sold as rubbing alcohol, in a 70% solution. It can also be found in antifreezes, glass cleaners, jewelry cleaner, stain removers, deicers, household disinfectants, and hand sanitizers.

Isopropyl alcohol is a solvent, and as such it is made up of different compounds. When the mixture is exposed to high pressure, it produces a blend of water and isopropyl alcohol that can be separated by distillation.

Alcohol

1. 7 tablespoons plus 1 teaspoon of 70% isopropryl alcohol.
2. 2 teaspoons aloe vera gel.

Ingredients:

1. In a bowl mix the Aloe Vera Gel, Witch Hazel and Rubbing Alcohol together until well blended.
2. Add 4-8 drops of Tea Tree essential oil to the mixture, and stir well.
3. Add as much glitter as you desire and mix.
4. Add your Soy based food colouring just enough to colour your sanitiser and Mix.

How to make alcohol-based disinfectant wipes:

1. Put on gloves.
2. If using 91% isopropyl alcohol, mix 7 cups of alcohol with 3 cups of water.
3. If using 95% ethanol (otherwise known as grain alcohol), mix 6 cups of alcohol with 4 cups of water.

Cleaning Wipes (non bleach)

1. 1/2 cup vinegar.
2. 1 cup water.
3. 1 teaspoon liquid dish soap.
4. 5-10 drops essential oil (optional)

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends a ratio of ⅓ cup bleach to one gallon of water or four teaspoons bleach to one quart of water. Some Clorox bleach products call for ½ cup of bleach to 1 gallon of water; others call for ⅓ cup of bleach to 1 gallon of water.

By adding rubbing alcohol to your baby wipes, you can, however, turn them into effective sanitizing wipes. To do this, pour ½ bottle of rubbing alcohol — it should be at least 70 percent Isopropyl alcohol to achieve the best, safest, and most effective results — into a container of baby wipes.

Combine 3 ½ ounces of distilled water with ½ teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide in the bottle. If you’re adding an essential oil — it’s totally up to you, but adding a disinfecting essential oil is an optional way to customize your disinfectant — you’ll want to add anywhere from 30 to 45 drops into the spray bottle.
