Those are easily destroyed with heavy attacks (press R2/RT), or by holding the block button to do a powerful combo (hold L1/LB). Generally these enemies are not a problem at all. For example, using dual-wielding axes heavy attacks (R2/RT) will break wooden shields in 1-2 hits.

Zealots that do not carry Shields in Valhalla, can more easily be shot with arrows, making the ranged Poison Strike and Fire Strike abilities useful here. The Piercing Shot ability is useful against Zealots with Shields. Players may also summon their wolf to attack alongside them by using the Man’s Best Friend ability.

If Heike has a shield up while you’re attacking, then repel back and start shooting the head. This does the most damage. You can even activate Odin’s Sight and check out the highlighted parts of the body and concentrate your attacks on those parts, this will deplete Heike’s health fastest.
