In the iTunes app on your PC, choose File > Home Sharing > Turn On Home Sharing. Type your Apple ID and password, then click Turn On Home Sharing. If you don’t have an Apple ID, click Create New Apple ID and follow the onscreen instructions.

Make sure both devices are on the same channel and that one isn’t on the guest network and one isn’t on the personal network. You should also try restarting your devices if things aren’t working. Don’t only restart your Mac, Apple TV, and/or iOS devices, but also restart your wireless router.

Here are the steps for setting up Home Sharing when you’re connected to a Wi-Fi network:

1. On your computer, open iTunes.
2. Click the File menu and choose Turn On Home Sharing.
3. Enter your Apple ID and password and then click Create Home Share.
4. Click Done.
5. On your iPad, tap Settings and then tap Music.

If you use Home Sharing and don’t see shared iTunes libraries on your Mac, iOS device, or Apple TV, follow these steps. Check that you’ve turned on Home Sharing. Make sure that the computer you want to share or stream content from is on and awake, and that iTunes is open. If iTunes is already open, quit and reopen it.

Set up Home Sharing on Apple TV

1. Open Settings. on Apple TV, then Go to Users and Accounts > Home Sharing.
2. Turn on Home Sharing, then enter your Apple ID and password.

You can see your hidden apps by scrolling down to the bottom of the Featured, Categories, or Top 25 pages in the App Store app on your iDevice and tapping on your Apple ID. Next, tap View Apple ID. Next, tap Hidden Purchases under the iTunes in the Cloud header. This takes you to a list of your hidden apps.

Tap your profile image on the top right portion of the app. Tap your Apple ID and key in your Apple ID passcode. Scroll down and select “Hidden Purchases”, then, look for the app that you wish to unhide and tap the cloud arrow icon to re-download it.

Unhide hidden apps by re-enabling them in the device settings.

3. Swipe left or right to view the “All Applications” screen, if needed.

Android 7.0 Nougat

1. Tap the Apps tray from any Home screen.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Tap Applications.
4. Tap Menu (3 dots) icon > Show system apps.
5. If the app is hidden, “Disabled” appears in the field with the app name.
6. Tap the desired application.
7. Tap ENABLE to show the app.

If the recent update automatically override your iPhone settings and enabled restrictions, then these pre-loaded apps likely disappeared from your Home screen due this configuration. If the restriction is enabled for various apps, make sure to turn off the restriction on each app.

When an app you’re looking for appears under the Settings heading instead, that usually means the app is hidden from Search. To show it in Search, just tap on the Settings icon for it, then if “Siri & Search” is set to “Off,” tap on it and toggle on both “Show App” and “Search & Siri Suggestions.”
