Find your unseen messages in Facebook’s other hidden inbox

On your messenger, what you need to do is Tap and Hold on a chat and select the option Mark as unread.

Basically, here’s what Unseen for Android does: it reads your Facebook Messenger notifications, pulls the text from them, then puts it into its own window. This allows you to read everything said, in its entirety, without the other person knowing you read it.

How to turn off read receipts on Facebook Messenger

1. After you receive a new message on Facebook Messenger, just turn on Airplane Mode from your phone’s Settings, which will disable Internet and network connections on the device.
2. You can then open Messenger and view the message without an Internet connection.

Marking Messages as Unread: App In the mobile version, open the Messenger app to display a list of conversations. Choose Messenger’s Mark as Unread option to change the status of the conversation. When the conversation is marked as unread, it will highlight the conversation in your Messenger feed.

3. Step 3: By default, it shows you the Recent list; click Message Requests, then scroll down and click Filtered Requests.

How to Appear Offline on Facebook Messenger?

1. Navigate to messenger.com and sign in to your account.
2. At the top-right corner, select the Messenger icon.
3. From the Messenger pull-down menu, click on the three-dotted menu icon.
4. Select the “Turn off Active Status” from the pull-down menu.

You can simply open the app, head to the Settings page, go to accounts, privacy, and tap on Turn of Receipts. That’s it. This will however, will not let you see if the other person has read your message or not..

To do this you just need to use Airplane or Flight mode. You should find this in your phone’s Settings menu, or using the quick access icons that appear when you pull down from the top of the screen. When you first receive the message, don’t open the Facebook Messenger app, instead turn on Flight Mode.

Go to Settings and tap on Messages. An option called Send Read Receipts can be found here. Toggle it off to disable the ability completely.

When you receive a message from a Messenger chat, you can read that message without the person knowing- just switch on your airplane mode. Once you are done reading the message, close the app before switching off the airplane mode.

Using this unseen messenger app, you can access all the information you can see without any issue. You can recover text or messages which is deleted by sender.

There aren’t too many downsides that we’ve found when it comes to Privy Chat for Facebook, but the fact that it can’t currently work with group chats may put some people off depending on how they use Facebook Messenger.
