How to Remove Filters and Effects from Edited Photos

1. Launch the Microsoft Paint. To open the Paint window, click on the “Start” button-All Programs-Accessories-Paint.
2. Add a JPG Image.
3. Edit the Image.

After text has been added to an image in Paint, it can’t be deleted. You can, however, remove the text by painting over it or copying other portions of the image and pasting them over the text. Another option is to crop the image to remove the area that contains text.

Click on Select and select Rectangular selection . Then circle the text you want to delete and press Delete. Immediately this text area on the image will disappear. Next, circle the next background so that it is quite similar to the area just deleted.

Because Ctrl+spacebar removed the grey “background”, it must have been shading applied to the text. It would have been possible to remove that shading without affecting other font formatting. To do that, select the shaded text and click the down arrow on the Shading button. Then click No Color in the dropdown.
