Access Destiny Discover via DestinyDiscover.com

1. From any browser, go to destinydiscover.com.
2. In the School field, type the first few letters of your school’s name. When your school appears in the suggestions, select it.
3. Click Go!.
4. From the top toolbar, select Log In.
5. Type your Username and Password, and then click Login.

You can customize the Destiny Discover homepage to show the content and links you want to feature, in the order you want them to appear….

1. Next to the link you want to edit, click Edit.
2. Edit any of the fields.
3. Click Save.

From search results or a title’s details page, click Hold. To remove a hold: From search results, a title’s details page or your Holds page, click Unhold.

Get the Patron Import Converter

1. Log in to Destiny as a District User with Manage Patrons for the District permission.
2. Select Back Office > Update Patrons > Schedule sub-tab.
3. Click Schedule It.
4. Click the Patron Import Converter link, and choose to run or download and run based on your browser configuration.

You can reserve a book or send a book to any library by placing a hold. When viewing your search results, click “Place Hold”, provide your Library Card # and PIN, and select your pick-up location. You will be notified when the title is available at the pick-up location.

Circulating books are the most common — these books may leave the library and be checked out for up to three (3) weeks. They may also be renewed twice for three (3) weeks each, as long as no one else is waiting for the book. This means that, in total, a book could be checked out for up to nine (9) weeks.
