Creating the Torrent

To do this, right-click on the torrent again, choose Advanced and then choose Set Download Location. A new dialog will pop up asking you where to download your torrent file to. Navigate to the new location and just click Select Folder. uTorrent will automatically move the files for you to the new location.

Steps

1. Click on “File” > “Create new torrents”.
2. Send a single file by clicking on “Add File” or send a folder by clicking on “Add Directory”.
3. Browse through your computer and select the appropriate file.
4. Avoid deleting the file/folder or changing the location of it on your hard drive if you wish to share it.

Steps to open Torrent file with BitTorrent:

1. Download and launch BitTorrent.
2. Search and download the file, or if you already have a torrent file, right-click on it and open it with BitTorrent.
3. Click on I Agree to the pop-up menu.
4. Save the file at the selected location.
5. View the file.

If you download from a torrent with many seeds you’ll probably download faster than from a torrent with few seeds. If you’re seeding many torrents while downloading a torrent the seeding while take up some bandwidth and thus you’ll probably download slower than if you weren’t seeding many torrents.
