Double tap with 3 fingers to zoom out. Then go to Settings > General > Accessibility > Zoom to turn zoom off.

In General settings, drag your finger up to scroll down the screen and tap Accessibility. The Accessibility pane appears. Tap Zoom. In the Zoom pane, tap the Zoom On/Off button to turn on the feature.

Go to Settings > Accessibility > Zoom, then turn on Zoom.

If a host needs someone else to start the meeting, they can assign an alternative host. Alternative hosts: Shares the same controls as co-hosts, but can also start the meeting. Hosts can assign alternative hosts when they schedule a meeting.

1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
2. Click Meetings, and click Schedule a Meeting.
3. Select the meeting options. Note that some of these options might not be available if they were disabled and locked to the off position at the account or group level. Topic: Enter a topic or name for your meeting.
4. Click Save to finish.

In the Zoom client, click Meetings. Under the Upcoming tab, select the meeting you want to start; additional options will appear. Click Start.

Zoom is probably such a popular video conferencing software option because it’s so easy to use: Once you’re set up, you only need a few clicks to start talking to your colleagues.

If possible, join the meeting 5 minutes early using your desired method. Tip: Connect video. This gives the meeting a more personal feel.

What Not to Do During a Zoom Meeting

• Don’t replace professionalism with comfort.
• Don’t set the scene for distractions.
• Don’t forget to eat beforehand.
• Don’t Zoom and drive.
• Don’t put a private message in a Zoom chat.
• Don’t forget to mute yourself when not speaking.
• Don’t be late.

To get you started, however, here are some simple ways to mess with your chat buddies.

1. Use a custom background to fool unsuspecting participants.
2. “Accidentally” put a message in the wrong sidechat.
3. Pretend to be muted.
4. Pretend to not know you’re unmuted.
5. Screen-share your murder folders.

Here are some other sounds that may annoy:

1. Rip a piece of paper an inch at a time.
2. Scratch your nails on your desk.
3. Repeatedly make a slurping noise when the teacher is not looking.
4. Click your pen or tap your pencil.
5. Drop your belongings.
6. Repeatedly sniffle without blowing your nose, or cough.
7. Scratch your legs loudly.
