How to upload photos to iCloud from iPhone or iPad

1. Go to Settings. This is the cog icon on your home screen.
2. Select your name.
3. Tap iCloud.
4. Tap Photos.
5. Turn on iCloud Photos. Make sure the button next iCloud Photos is green.
6. Select how you want to store your photos.
7. Turn on Upload to My Photo Stream.
8. Open the Photos app.

If you subscribe to Apple Music or iTunes Match, you can store all of your music in your iCloud Music Library, including songs you imported from CDs and purchased from places other than the iTunes Store. You can play those songs on any of your computers or devices whenever you want.

iCloud backups include nearly all data and settings stored on your device. iCloud backups don’t include: iCloud Music Library and App Store content (If it’s still available in the iTunes, App, or Apple Books store, you can tap to re-download your already purchased content.)

Apple Music goes further allowing you to add content from the iTunes Music catalog to your iCloud Music Library. Once content is matched or uploaded you can select particular albums or tracks, right-click, and remove download to free up local storage.

1. If you use iCloud Photos and turn on Optimize Storage, you can lower the amount of storage that your photos use on your device.
2. You can remove content from your apps like photos, music, and podcasts.
3. You can delete apps that you’re no longer using.

Select the music you wish to download to your device. Tap +. It appears to the right of the song or album you want to download. Now the music you selected has been added to your iCloud Music Library and is available on any device signed in to your Apple ID.

The good news is that even if you turn off iCloud Music Library, you will still be able to access any songs you have purchased via iTunes. Those tracks will always be available for streaming across your iOS or macOS devices, whether iCloud Music Library is enabled or not.

Syncing the music to your iPhone or iPad

1. Make sure iCloud Music Library is enabled.
2. In the General tab, make sure iCloud Music Library is enabled for your Apple ID.
3. Right-click (or Control-click) on the track you want to upload.
4. Select Add to iCloud Music Library.

So in order to transfer your music files from iTunes to iCloud you just need to follow the following steps.

1. Open the iTunes Account.
2. Select the Device.
3. Select the Checkbox.
4. Backup Now.
5. On your iPhone, go to Settings, iCloud, then Storage & Backup.
6. Turn iCloud Backup on and tap on Back Up Now.
