How to fix microphone latency:

To enable sidetone follow these steps:

1. Click on start – control panel – hardware and sound – sound.
2. Locate the recording tab and click on that.
3. Click on the device you’d like to test, then click properties.
4. You should see a transmit properties window pop up.
5. Check the box that says Listen to this Device.

Try performing latency test with your recording hardware all connected:

1. Plug in your headphones and anything else you use during recording.
2. Put your headphones/speakers right up to your microphone (do not wear your headphones!)
3. Turn the volume up until the microphone can clearly pick up the speaker sound.
4. Run the test.

1. Decrease buffer size in Digital Audio Workstation.
2. Engage Low Latency Monitoring in Digital Audio Workstation.
3. Close all other programs using audio.
4. Disable all audio plugins in Digital Audio Workstation.
5. Reduce the number of digital audio hardware devices.

How to reduce audio interface latency

1. Reduce the buffer size. The smaller the buffer size, the lower the latency.
2. Raise the sample rate.
3. Disable the Audio Input Device.
4. Use ASIO audio drivers on Windows.
5. Use a dedicated audio interface running native drivers.
6. Don’t use Bluetooth devices or cast audio.

On BandLab, round-trip latency correction is available on the web Mix Editor and the Android app. If you’re experiencing latency on BandLab, click the gear icon at the bottom right of the screen and select “Latency correction”. Unplug your headphones and start the test.

Deleting a project deletes EVERYTHING, not just the revisions, so be careful and absolutely sure! If you wish to remove a revision, you can unlist them individually.
