Quickly access the search bar in Evernote by using Option + Cmd + F for Mac or Ctrl + Q for Windows.

Using tags like folders in the finder. Tags that expands to the right, not to bottom. Select a tag from a more left pane and the right expands to all tags nested (stacked, moved) there in.

For windows: Hold down the control (ctrl) button to select multiple options. For Mac: Hold down the command button to select multiple options.

Here’s the workaround I used to delete a bunch of tags at once:

1. create new tag (e.g. “delete-nested-tags”)
2. drag the tags you wish to delete inside of the newly created tag.
3. right-click the tag you just created, select the option to “delete tag”

Recently, evernote released a new feature where you can select several notes while holding the ctrl button on the keyboard. Afaik, it’s for pc, Mac and web versions. I’ve posted already on how evernote can impliment this on android. hold the menu button to select several notes.

For example, in the Windows client, you can Ctrl-select multiple tags from the tag panel to build up an AND search.

To select multiple options in a drop-down list, use the multiple properties. It allows you to select more than one option while pressing CTRL key.

You have to click on the Tags header at the top of all your tags. A list of tags will then come up to the right and then, you can click on the ellipses (the three dots) by your tag, which finally allows you to delete it.

Here is how you can quickly add a tag to notes in Evernote:

1. Open the note you wish to tag.
2. Open the tags editor.
3. Type to add your tags. Tag suggestions based on previous tags in Evernote will appear as you type.
4. Press Return to add a tag.
5. To delete a tag, backspace over the tag text.

Search for notebooks in your team’s account (Evernote Teams only): Select Notebooks from the left navigation menu, then select All Team Notebooks button near the bottom of the notebook list and type your search terms.

Tag Explorer is a tool that shows which marketing tags are running on the page you are currently viewing and what beacons are firing.
