Control who can sync information

The passphrase will be your Google account password. If you’ve changed your Google account password after setting up sync & encryption, the passphrase will still be the old password.

1. Copy the private key file into your OpenSSL directory (or specify the path in the command below).

3. Enter the passphrase for the original key when asked.
4. The output file [new. key] should now be unencrypted.

Steps to remove passphrase from SSH key

1. Run ssh-keygen with -p option .
2. Specify the location of your SSH private key.
3. Enter existing passphrase for the private key.
4. Comment of the private key will be displayed.
5. Press [ENTER] twice without entering any passphrase to remove current passphrase.
