Sign in to your Google Account in the top right corner of the Google homepage. Click Change background image at the bottom of the Google homepage. Once you’ve chosen your image, click Select at the bottom of the window. It may take a moment before your new Google homepage background appears.

Applying the uploaded photo to your Gmail theme

1. Click on the Gmail icon in the top right corner.
2. Click on the gear icon.
3. Go to “Themes”
4. Click “My Photos” in the bottom left.
5. Select the photo you want as your theme.
6. Hit “Select” to save your Gmail theme.

You can make your own Gmail themes using the theme builder available from the Gmail settings interface. The theme builder enables you to select custom colors and upload an image to be shown in the background of the Gmail interface.

Sign in using your administrator account (does not end in @gmail.com). User settings. Scroll to the Themes section. Check or uncheck the Let users choose their own themes box.

Here’s how to change your Gmail theme: click the Gear icon above your inbox, then choose Themes. You’ll see a new dialog box with several themes to choose from. At the bottom of the list, you’ll see a few simple themes like Dark and various colors.

Change the Theme on Gmail Select the Settings icon in the upper right corner of the page. It looks like a gear. Scroll down to the Theme section and choose one of the pre-made themes offered here, if you like, or select View All. If you selected View All, scroll through the photos and select a theme to preview it.

The theme appears around the border of the browser and as the background when you open a new tab. Your Chrome themes are stored in your Google Account, so when you sign in to Chrome on any computer, you see the same theme.

Remove a Chrome theme

1. On your computer, open Chrome.
2. At the top right, click More. Settings.
3. Under “Appearance,” click Reset to default. You’ll see the classic Google Chrome theme again.

1. Open get.google.com/albumarchive.
2. Select the photo.
3. Click on More options.
4. Select delete photo.

Important: Dark theme is available on Android 5 and up. If you don’t find Dark theme settings, you may have to restart Chrome.

Turn on Dark theme

1. On your Android device, open Google Chrome .
2. At the top right, tap More Settings. Themes.
3. Choose the theme you’d like to use: System Default if you want to use Chrome in Dark theme when Battery Saver mode is turned on or your mobile device is set to Dark theme in device settings.

Change your theme setting

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app .
2. At the top left, tap Menu .
3. Tap Settings General settings.
4. Tap Theme.
5. Choose Light, Dark, or System default.

Enabling dark mode in Android System-wide dark mode was introduced from Android 10. First of all, you need to open the system settings by tapping the circular gear icon. Then select “Settings”. Here, you can enable or disable a “dark theme”, which includes Chrome dark mode.
