Q. Is Pastest good for MSRA?

Definitely recommended. I have used Pastest for a few years now, including to revise for my medical school finals, and most recently for the GP MSRA. I found Pastest an extremely useful resource in my preparation for the MRSA.

Q. Is MSRA exam hard?

Don’t underestimate the difficulty of the MSRA, start studying early, and do as many questions as you can afford to. It will pay off. All the question banks were good, and it is great to get used to as many formats as possible.

Q. Which question bank is best for MSRA?

MCQ bank
I used several question banks, and without question (no pun intended!), the best website was MCQ bank. It stands out for three reasons. First, both its SJT and SBA questions most closely match up with the MSRA itself. In fact it has many questions which previous candidates got on their exams.

  1. Allocate as much time as you can to preparing for the MSRA.
  2. Familiarise yourself with the topics that will be covered within the Clinical Problem Solving Paper.
  3. Include timed papers within your MSRA preparations.
  4. Practice Question Banks.
  5. Timed Practice Test.

Q. How long is MSRA valid for?

one year
Passing the MSRA is valid for one year so you could, in theory, apply for both rounds of that year without having to re-sit it. Once you apply for GP you’ll receive a message asking you to create a Pearson Vue account and register.

Q. Can you sit the MSRA abroad?

If you are in residence and/or employment outside of the UK during the MSRA window, you will be offered an opportunity to sit the test in a number of core, pre-approved EU/EEA and non-EU/EEA locations.

Q. What is the max MSRA score?

MSRA Scoring I found the scoring scale for MSRA slightly confusing as there is no maximum score achievable. Instead, they used a system called ‘normalisation’ which takes into account the score of everyone who takes the exam and normalises them around a mean score of 250 with a standard deviation of 40.

Q. Is there a BMJ onexamination GP ST Stage 2 resource?

BMJ OnExamination’s GP ST Stage 2/MSRA Speciality Recruitment Assessment resource is fully updated to align with the latest curriculum. This resource will give you a clear understanding of how to approach the Situational Judgement Test element of the examination in order for you to progress to Stage 3.

Q. Is the MSRA app good for GPST Stage 2?

Used this for preparation for GP MSRA and Selection Centre (GPST Stage 2&3). Found both the clinical and situational judgement questions were a similar level and content to the exam. The app means you can access the extensive question bank on the go. Absolutely awesome! I’ve had prior experience with PasTest, and it’s always been great.

Q. How can I prepare for my GP exam?

Using our GP Selection centre resource is a great way to simulate the exam experience and prepare for your GP exam.
