Add or remove your account

On the Google Chrome mobile app:

1. Start the Chrome app on your Apple or Android device.
2. On an iPhone or iPad, tap the icon of three horizontal dots at the bottom-right of the screen. On an Android, tap the icon of three vertical dots in the upper-right corner.
3. Tap Search engine and select Google on the next screen.

On a browser, like Chrome

1. On your Android phone or tablet, go to myaccount.google.com.
2. In the top right, tap your profile photo or name.
3. Tap Sign out or Manage accounts. Sign out.
4. Sign in with the account you want to use.
5. Open the file in Docs, Sheets, or Slides.

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app .
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add.
5. Follow the steps on the screen to add your account.

Sign in to multiple accounts at once

1. On your computer, sign in to Google.
2. On the top right, select your profile image or initial.
3. On the menu, choose Add account.
4. Follow the instructions to sign in to the account you want to use.

There is no limit on the number of accounts you can have on Google. You can quickly and easily create new accounts, and also link those to your existing accounts so that you can easily switch between different accounts. Visit Business Insider’s homepage for more stories.

Android Police reports that as of version 2019.08. 18 of the app, you can swipe up or down on your profile picture in the top right of the interface to switch between accounts. Alternatively, you can tap on your profile picture to select from a full list of your accounts, just as you could before.

How do you do this? From with the Gmail app, right swipe from the left edge of the screen to reveal the sidebar. At the top of the sidebar (Figure B), you should see small bubbles representing all of your accounts. You can tap a bubble to quickly switch between accounts.

How to switch your primary Google account. Open your Google settings (either from within your phone’s settings or by opening the Google settings app). Go to Search & Now > Accounts & privacy. Now, select ‘Google Account’ on the top and choose the one which should be the primary account for Google Now and Search.

See all settings. Click the Accounts and Import or Accounts tab. In the “Check mail from other accounts” section, click Add a mail account. Type the email address you want to link, then click Next. Select Link account with Gmail (Gmailify), then click Next.

If you have more than one Google Account, you can sign in to multiple accounts at once. That way, you can switch between accounts without signing out and back in again. Your accounts have separate settings, but in some cases, settings from your default account might apply.
