Even Marvel is admitting they made a mistake by killing off the X-Men’s Cyclops. The X-Men’s greatest leader died in the 2016 crossover event “Death of X,” among the first to be poisoned after exposure to the Inhumans’ Terrigen Mists.

Two of their weakness were: Love: since he fell in love with Galatea who rejected him, he was left heartbroken forever. Eyes: Cyclops were easily blinded.

Why did the Cyclopes have only one eye? According to legend, the Cyclopes had only one eye after making a deal with Hades, god of the underworld, in which they traded one eye for the ability to see the future and predict the day they would die.

Cyclops died in 2016’s Death of X miniseries, learning too late that the Inhuman Terrigen Mist – which had been released into the Earth’s atmosphere – was toxic to mutants.

In the movie X-Men: The Last Stand the resurrected Jean Grey comes back as the Phoenix and kills both Scott Summers and Xavier becoming being killed herself by the Wolverine.

Cyclops is completely immune to his own powers. If he wasn’t then his optic blast would blow his eye lids out when he closed his eyes. His hands are capable of stopping his optic beams, however there’s danger to anyone and anything around him due to leakage.

Scott Summers and Jean Grey finally marry. During their honeymoon, they are brought into the future where they raise Cable for the first 12 years of his life during The Adventures of Cyclops and Phoenix miniseries.

Havok is more destructive and holds back less. Cyclops hold back and has more control and power is nothing with out control. Both of the brothers powers are cancelled on each other, so the canon fight was a tie. Havock would vaporize Scott’s teammates though.

Pietro Lensherr, a.k.a. Quicksilver, is the son of mutant supremacist Magneto and twin brother of Wanda. Pietro continued trying to win his father’s respect, becoming his lieutenant and participating in the Brotherhood’s anti-human terrorism. His father in turn deliberately belittled him.

The immediate reason was saving the prof. Alex Summers, who dies trying to stop Apocalypse from abducting Professor X. When he unleashes his plasma blasts at a teleport Apocalypse, the clash causes an explosion that takes down the entire mansion. Thanks to Quicksilver, no one is hurt, save Havok, who dies.

Cyclops was chosen as one of The Twelve by Apocalypse which was a group of the twelve most powerful mutants at the time so that he could channel their energy into himself. Cyclops’ power is a concussive blast that showers from another dimension as opposed to being “laser eyes”or “heat vision”.

Cyclops on the hand has a very fast vast ranged beam that pushes his oppponenets back if it doesn’t cut through them. It might hurt superman, but it won’t kill him.

Officially, no, Cyclops’s eye blasts cannot damage adamantium, and Cyclops has blasted Wolverine a lot without damaging the adamantium. If adamantium could be heated back to a melting point, Cyclops could melt Wolverine’s bones that way.

In Marvel Comics X-men, Scott Summers, Cyclops isn’t Omega level, but he is Alpha level. Cyclops’s Optic blasts are far more powerful than they at first seem. His power is actually that his eyes act as a doorway between our universe and a universe of concussive energy.

For some unexplained reason, Cyclops’s optic blasts can damage Mr. Sinister, to the point where his regeneration ability will not work (or at least, is nullified from working, making it possible for Cyclops to kill him once and for all.)

6. Legion. The son of Charles Xavier and Gabrielle Haller, David Haller is the powerful Omega-level mutant known as Legion. He possesses hundreds of mutant abilities ranging from telekinesis to reality warping, but each power is controlled by a different persona, which could be either benevolent or malevolent.

Infinity Gauntlet Thanos is easily more powerful than Adult Franklin Richards. He was powerful enough to defeat many cosmic beings, including Galactus, the Celestials, Death, Mephisto, etc. Even Eternity lost to him. Infinity Gauntlet Thanos is way more powerful than Adult Franklin Richards.
