Miniature roses are miniature versions of Hybrid Tea roses. They have petite stems, leaves and flowers, and are hardy and versatile plants. Miniatures come in a wide range of colors including pink, orange, white, and yellow. Most miniature roses bloom continuously for two to three weeks at a time.

The added magnesium levels help increase the production of chlorophyll in the plant for strength and deep, rich color.

Banana peels provide many nutrients for roses. To start, they provide potassium, which can help the plant’s overall immune system, thereby helping the rose fight off any damage that can come from severe weather conditions such as humidity and frost or disease.

Almost as handy as duct tape for household jobs, baking soda not only deodorizes and cleans, but also helps control black spot (Diplocarpon rosae) in your roses (Rosa spp.). If left untreated, black spot can kill all the rose’s leaves.

Mix one tablespoon of vinegar with one cup of water. Stir this mixture into one gallon of water, and spray it on your roses’ foliage. Reapply every seven to ten days, or after a rainstorm.

Hydrogen Peroxide Is a Great Pesticide. Black spots form on leaves and stems causing them to yellow and drop. Spray infected and diseased plants with 3% hydrogen.
