The royal family has to curtsy in private You might think that the royals only do the curtsying and bowing in public but in her recent interview with Oprah Winfrey, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex revealed that everyone curtsies to the queen, even in private.

After all, the queen has practically been grooming the Duchess of Cambridge for her future role as queen alongside husband Prince William. “[Duchess] Kate sent the queen a huge bouquet of flowers from her family,” a source shared with Us Weekly, revealing Kate’s touching gesture to the queen.
