Do cars require regular computer updates? They absolutely do! If you grumble about having to take your car in to your local repair shop for software updates, you are in luck. If you own a computer, you’re well aware software makers are always tweaking their software to fix bugs, add features and improve functionality.

Its simple, go into Bluetooth on your phone and click “My Devices”. If your car and phone have found each other your car will be shown, click on your car then click “Forget this device”, then, toggle the Bluetooth OFF and ON again, and then PAIR the phone according to the car Bluetooth/Phone instructions.

You can access the update through your vehicle’s Settings menu, within the Software Updates section. How do I perform a reset, when my screen is blank?

1. To reset the device, simultaneously press the Power on and Volume up button for 10 – 12 seconds.
2. The device will power down and then automatically reboot.
3. Device will now power on, perform and charge as expected.
