There are no coincidences. We miss God’s signals without realizing it. We are making something into a ‘God moment’ that was merely made up in our head. I’ve also learned people will commonly project their own experiential lens onto others, especially when it comes to how God interacts with us.

How many times have you seen repetitive numbers such as 11:11, 777, 1010, 4444, 999 and so forth? Seeing repetitive numbers is a form of synchronicity – a phenomenon described by psychiatrist Carl Jung as “a meaningful coincidence of two or more events where something other than the probability of chance is involved.”

In Jeremiah chapter 29, verse 11, God says, “For I know the plans that I have for you, plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.” In his book, Dr. Beitman states that the two most popular ‘explanations’ for coincidences are a) God-Mystery and b) random chance. I tend to favor the former.

Many believe that Fate or Mystery, or the Universe or God, causes coincidences. Their faith in something Greater provides them with a cause. They are not coincidences, just random events. Those who believe in Mystery are more likely to believe that coincidences contain messages for them personally.

Meaningful coincidences or synchronicities, as they are so called, are totally relevant to you, personally. So the best way to interpret them is to get a journal and personally take notes of what they mean to you, what you sensed, your emotions, how they happened, who or what was involved, etc.

“The primary reality of synchronicities is emotional, not intellectual,” says Mark Holland, co-author of Synchronicity. “The reason they’re there is to make us feel something, and the feeling that our lives are rich and worth our reflection comes in part from our sense of the depth and mystery of life.”

Remember that synchronicity is actually energy, so when you change your vibrational energy, you start attracting more of what you’re feeling. Focus on a sign that has a high refresh rate- for instance, the number plates on cars. Basically, something that you’ll be seeing a lot of in your day.
