One of the final episodes of Boy Meets World showed a future Eric Matthews (Will Friedle) rechristening himself “Plays With Squirrels” and telling the gang he “married a moose.” Thanks to Girl Meets World, we know this didn’t actually happen, but Friedle did get married on Sunday (September 25) to a human.

Now the actor mostly does voiceover work for animated shows like Thundercats, Batman: The Brave and the Bold, and Kim Possible.

He wound up depressed on his parents’ couch, watching television in a bathrobe everyday. His parents tried to support him but didn’t quite know what to do with him. Neither did the show’s writers, who didn’t want Will Friedle off the show, so they made him the insane comic relief.

Season 5 of Girl Meets World is the Fifth and final season of the series. The season will begin May 30, 2021 and will end April 30, 2022. The season will be followed with a new spin-off called Girl Meets Girl, which will follow Maya and Riley’s life as adults.

But it finally came to an end on last Friday’s episode and Lucas finally ended up “choosing” (I use that word sooooo loosely — more on that later) between Riley and Maya. And the girl he ended up with is… RILEY! Rucas shippers rejoice!
