DEMAZIN Syrup provides relief of nasal congestion and other symptoms associated with sinusitis, hay fever, nasal allergies or other respiratory allergies.

Contains Hydroxybenzoates, sugar, alcohol 6.4% w/v and sorbitol (6.3g/60mL). Products containing sorbitol may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea.

Demazin contains an antihistamine (chlorphenamine) for prophylaxis and treatment of allergy symptoms and a decongestant (pseudoephedrine) for relief of nasal and sinus congestion.

Demazin Syrups can be used from 6 years of age with use in children aged 6-11 years on medical advice. Demazin PE Multi-Action Cold & Flu Relief tablets and Demazin PE Multi-Action Day & Night Cold & Flu Relief tablets can be used from 12 years of age.

Allecet syrup is for allergic reactions that respond to antihistamine use, for instance allergic sinusitis and urticaria. You can start with a 2 1/2 ml once daily in the morning. Histamine is produced by the body in response to foreign substances which the body is allergic to. Decongestants produce narrowing of blood vessels. This leads to clearing of stuffy or blocked noses. Your doctor or pharmacist, however, may have given you DEMAZIN COLD RELIEF for another purpose.

Do not give DEMAZIN COLD RELIEF to children who have breathing problems (e.g. chronic bronchitis) and children with asthma, liver disease or seizure disorders unless under the direction of your doctor.
