Recall, for those of you who still watch Good Girls, that season two finale essentially ended with Beth, holding a gun, and being told by Rio (Montana) to kill FBI Agent Jim Turner (James Lesure). Beth couldn’t do it, so instead she shot Rio three times and left him for dead.

Additionally, Fitz knew she and Rio had an affair, and since he himself was spurned by Beth, he was chomping at the bit to kill Rio anyway.
