Chains of Olympus came out after 2, but Ghost of Sparta came out after 3, so there’s no absolute need to play them really. There’s only one point at which God of War III references Chains of Olympus, but if you read the plot you should be good to go.

Open your downloaded PPSSPP Windows folder. Press your left click twice on the PPSSPPWindows application and open it. Now you will see the option of load on the right side of your screen, you have to left-click on it. You have to select and open the unzipped ISO file of God of War Chains of Olympus.

Download the PC app. Plug in a DualShock 4 controller via USB. If you don’t have a PlayStation Network account, you’ll need to make one here. Start enjoying PlayStation games like God of War on PC!

Ghost of Sparta has better graphics, presentation, and boss, but I prefered Chains of Olympus’ combat, powers, and balance a lot more. Personally, I’d go with Chains of Olympus, but the difference isn’t that big.

It is listed for ps4 but there is no option available in the ps store for ps4..anyone knew the reason? If you hold down the ps button on the controller for around 12 seconds it will turn off.

You can play them all on the Playstation NOW service or buy them cheap with the God of War Saga for PS3. Both versions are remastered from the original versions, save for Ascension, which was a PS3 game.

The main reason some PlayStation 4 games look worse when running on the PlayStation 5 is due to how the PS5 handles HDR. Thus, you could end up getting a different image, for better or worse, when playing PS4 games on the PS5 console. Another potential problem is with backwards compatibility.
