Do students have enough time to eat enough food to meet their nutritional needs? The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that students get at least 20 minutes for lunch. But that means 20 minutes to actually sit down and eat — excluding time waiting in line or walking from class to cafeteria.

According to a 2008 study published in Nature Reviews Neuroscience, diets with high levels of saturated fats may impair learning and memory. Many foods commonly served during school lunch, such as French fries, cheeseburgers, and chicken nuggets, are loaded with saturated fat.

About 77 percent of 1,300 high school students surveyed said that they did not like the food, and about half said they ate school lunch two days a week or less.

Academics-wise, school in America can be hard because it revolves around standard testing, midterms, finale exams, or just plain old quizzes and tests that are more like memorization games than actual intellectual testing. And know that i’m saying this as a former high school student who was at the top of his class.

11th grade has to be the hardest grade because it is what determines your class rank when you graduate and your ACT and SAT scores start to become recognized, as well as colleges looking at your grades before admission.

So are online classes harder than traditional classes? Probably not. But they are different and those differences can sometimes make them more difficult for individuals. It’s important to remember that online education is more self-directed.

School does not teach children how to develop their capacity to think logically so that they can reach to their own conclusions when presented with information. Hence their critical thinking is prevented from improving, and as a result children are turned into stupid automatons.

Schools can diminish creativity by the teaching style they use. Most of the subjects in school like math, science, and history (as I mentioned above) require structured right or wrong answers. While classes like art are available at schools they are usually taught as an elective and not a core subject.
