eBay doesn’t sell anything, when you buy on eBay you are buying from individual sellers who ship their own items. The only time there will be any information about the purchase OUTSIDE the box is if you buy an item internationally.

Surround your item with bubble wrap, packing peanuts, foam, or paper – so there’s no room for things to move around. Use clear or brown packaging tape, eBay’s own branded tape – opens in new window or tab, reinforced packing tape, or paper tape, which should be at least 2 inches wide.

If you are in the same country as where it is shipping from, it shouldn’t be marked on the outside of what is inside. However, if the item has to pass through customs at any point to get to a new country, there will be customs paperwork on the outside of the package that will list the contents.

eBay partners with three major carriers—the United States Postal Service, UPS, and FedEx—to offer shipping services integrated with the eBay site. Choose to ship via one of these carriers, and you easily add shipping costs and info to your eBay listings, as well as print prepaid shipping labels from your own computer.

You’ll see items you bought in the last 60 days when you go to your purchase history. To see older items you’ve bought, you can change the date range displayed. Go to See orders from at the top of your purchase history and choose the year from the dropdown.

The reason for listing with ridiculous prices: Large sellers do that if their item is out of stock. In order to prevent/discourage people from buying the item, they hike the price to a ridiculous level and leave the listing where it is. When the item is back in stock, they return the price to it’s original.
