On July 17, 2010, the Golden States Warriors unveiled a new logo which they have been using to date. The team has consistently used California Golden yellow and Warriors Royal Blue in their logos, and the current one came after 18 months of collaborating with Adidas and NBA.

The font for the names is EB Garamond I believe. The main font for writing is EB Garamond and the size is 13.

The current logo of the team, which has been in use since 2010, features a span of the Bay Area Bridge in yellow on a blue circle with the team name around it and the font used for the team name is Copperplate Medium (GOLDEN STATE) and Copperplate Bold (WARRIORS).

The Golden State Warriors will be moving into the Chase Center in a few years, but they shouldn’t change their name to “San Francisco.” In 1962, the Philadelphia Warriors packed their bags and headed West.

The depiction of the Bay Bridge in the primary logo serves as the link between the Warriors’ original Bay Area home in San Francisco, where the team arrived from Philadelphia 48 years ago, and its current home in Oakland.

A wordmark “BOSTON CELTICS” in white arched around the logo in a green circle. The latest version of Boston’s logo is now a one-colored green leprechaun logo, with the leprechaun traced in black with only green and white clothes. He is still spinning a basketball on one finger and leaning on a cane.

McHugh of Irish descent, had just returned from a trip to Ireland and, well aware of the strong and passionate Irish heritage in the Boston area, suggested the name Celtics, which apparently had roots in an original Celtics team in New York in the 1920’s.
