Paul McCartney married American businesswoman Nancy Shevell on Sunday. Many thought he would never marry again after his bitter divorce from second wife Heather Mills, to whom the famously frugal Beatles singer had to fork over a reported $35 million. But Shevell, 51, won over McCartney, 69.

They married in June 2002 and Mills gave birth to Beatrice Milly McCartney on 28 October 2003. The couple separated in 2006, and finalised their divorce in 2008. After her marriage to McCartney, Mills became involved in animal rights advocacy and as of 2012 is a patron of Viva!

Paul McCartney has been married three times so is the most-married of the four. John, George and Ringo were each married twice.

Paul McCartney apparently doesn’t like to be not married. He likes having a companion and life-mate. The former Beatle has been married three times: first to Linda McCartney, who died of breast cancer just short of their 30th wedding anniversary; then to Heather Mills in 2002, a union that lasted just six years.

In an appearance on the BBC Television show Dee Time, Jane Asher announced to the host, Simon Dee, that her engagement to Paul McCartney was over. I haven’t broken it off, but it is broken off, finished. I know it sounds corny, but we still see each other and love each other, but it hasn’t worked out.

Since 2016, Peter Asher has been playing shows, including one at the Edmonton Folk Music Festival, as part of a duo with Albert Lee that showcases songs from both their careers. He currently resides in Venice, California. In 2018, Asher began performing with Jeremy Clyde of Chad & Jeremy fame.

Yoko Ono and her son, Sean, received the lion’s share of the inheritance while Julian was left with next to nothing. Sean and Yoko Ono reportedly received $200 million each. On the other hand, Julian Lennon was reportedly given just $50,000 and a royalties of $100 per week.

Despite later losing touch with other family members, he kept in close contact with Mimi and telephoned her every week until his death in 1980.

‘I Call Your Name’, according to Paul McCartney, is actually a little deeper than some might expect. Like the song ‘Help! “We worked on it together, but it was John’s idea,” said Macca confirming the song was written at Aunt Mimi’s house following the death of his mother and disappearance of his father.

Lennon made no provision in his will for him. There was an arrangement at the time of Lennon’s divorce that set up a trust fund for Julian that was to pay him 50,000 pounds when he reached age 25.

Other than this, Yoko has said very little about Julian in the past, despite their highly-publicised disputes. It may be after years of differences, the pair are finally on better terms.
