According to Aliens, Amanda at some point married, taking on the surname McClaren, but had no children. She died on December 23, 2178 from cancer. Ripley was cremated and interred at Westlake Repository, Little Chute, Wisconsin.

Lieutenant Ellen Ripley, the last survivor of the Nostromo’s destruction and the mission on LV-426, had died. With Ripley’s sacrifice, the Xenomorph species had finally been brought to an end.

Axel Fielding is a surviving inhabitant of Sevastopol, and one of the first people Ripley encounters after boarding the station. Although initially hostile, he agrees to assist her in exchange for escape aboard the Torrens.

When a Joe’s optics glow white, the Joe is operating per normal parameters. Unless it finds the player in a restricted area or committing a breach of station protocol, it will acknowledge the player’s presence but go about its own business. When a Joe’s optics glow red, the Joe is hostile.

Samuels is a synthetic being under employment of the Weyland-Yutani Corporation.

The idea was ultimately dropped when the development team realised there was not enough time for Ricardo to be impregnated during the course of the game — a process that took around 24 hours in Alien — and thus the timeline of his demise was delayed so that Ripley finds him with the Facehugger on his head and is forced to leave him behind.

Not only do we get to see her having to face off against the killer alien, but we see how the loss of her mother affected her life growing up.
