Leaving it on for 24-hrs shouldn’t cause any harm. Much longer than that certainly can, though. Unless the charger is smart enough to put it into some sort of trickle-mode. At any rate, the occasional 24-hr “charge” shouldn’t be a cause for concen — but I wouldn’t make a habit of it.

Battery chargers supplied with Sony® cameras are designed to shut off when the battery reaches full charge. For this reason, InfoLithium® and lithium-ion batteries will not be overcharged.

Charge the battery. Connect the camera to the supplied AC power adapter using the supplied USB cable. Then plug the AC power adapter into an indoor power outlet. Be sure the connectors are in the correct orientation and then insert them fully.

2. The red and blue external lights will turn on and the battery charging symbol will appear on the display. The red light shuts off when the battery is fully charged.

Charging the SJ4000 By either plugging the camera into an available USB port on your computer or by using a compatible 5 volt 1 amp USB power adapter (wall charger). The first initial charge will take approximately 3 hours to complete. The charging status is indicated by the LED status light shown below.

4. Open SJCAM Zone

1. Open SJCAM Zone application > press Skip if showing ads.
2. Press “+” Sign.
3. Click Camera > Click at the bottom right screen (Photo Icon)
4. You will see photos & videos stored in Camera.
5. Click Photo / Video Tab.
6. Press Select > choose photos / videos you want to save in your Android Device.

HOW DO I CONNECT MY CAMERA WITH MOBILE WIFI?

1. Install SJCAMZONE or SJ5000 PLUS software on a mobile phone or a panel computer (you can search and download on Google Play for android system, or APP Store for IOS system.
2. After power on, press WIFI key on the camera, WIFI icon displays on the screen, SJCAM WIFI displays.

Turn on WiFi and pair it to your smartphone (Android or iOS), then tap Connect Your Camera on the app. Press the Power/Mode button to turn your camera on. You will hear a beep, indicator LEDs will light up, and the screen will display the SJCAM logo. Default Mode is Video.

On a Mac computer, just plug it in and choose “PC Camera” from the main screen options, then go to your camera program, choose SJCAM.

Connect your SJ4000 Wifi camera via Wifi (192.168. 1.254) to your computer and start the app. Now you can watch the stream from the cam. Also all compatible models should also be supported.

To upgrade the firmware properly, follow the steps carefully:

1. Power the camera off.
2. Remove the MicroSD card from the camera.
3. Format the MicroSD card using the FAT32 file format on your computer*.
4. Copy the firmware ‘bin’ file into the root directory of your MicroSD card, please keep the firmware ‘bin’ file’s name.

While the GoPro outperforms the SJCAM when it comes to quality (Watch our SJCAM Comparison Videos), it is hard to ignore the price factor of the SJCAM. The SJCAM’s quality might be 70-80% that of the GoPro, but it is only 30% of the price!

The camera power should over 50% when upgrade….How to upgrade action camera?

1. Visit EZVIZ support center (https://service.ezvizlife.com/download ) to download the new firmware.
2. Input the new firmware to SD card.
3. Reboot the action camera, then it automatically upgrade.
4. After upgrade success, camera will reboot again.
