Choose a folder to save the page and then, from the drop-down menu, choose either “Webpage, HTML only” or “Webpage, Complete.” The former keeps only content vital to access it later on (text and formatting), while the latter saves everything (text, images, and additional resource files).

1. On your computer, open Chrome.

If you’re on a desktop computer, saving a web page is dead simple. Just open up your browser, navigate to the page, and go to File > Save Page As. Save it as “Web Page, Complete” somewhere in your documents. You’ll get an HTML file and a folder full of images and other data contained within-don’t delete this.

Here’s how:

1. Go to the Chrome Web store and search for “screen capture” in the search box.
2. Select the “Screen Capture (by Google)” extension and install it.
3. After installation, click on the Screen Capture button on the Chrome toolbar and select Capture Whole Page or use the keyboard shortcut, Ctrl+Alt+H.

Click “Scrolling Window” to make a long screenshot. Open the webpage you’d like to capture, then press and hold “Ctrl” + “Alt.” Then, press the “Prtsc” key. Left-click on the corner of the red highlighted box and drag to select the screenshot area.

To use default, just leave it on “responsive”. 6. At the top right of this new row, you’ll see a new “more” button. Click this and go to “capture screen shot” in the menu, or “capture full size screenshot” to get it all.

To capture your entire screen and automatically save the screenshot, tap the Windows key + Print Screen key. Your screen will briefly go dim to indicate that you’ve just taken a screenshot, and the screenshot will be saved to the Pictures > Screenshots folder.

Android Screen Recorder Pull down the notification shade from the top of the screen to view your quick settings options. Windows 10 has it’s own inbuilt Screen Recorder which is free and really handy to do this job. It’s actually a XBOX Game bar, which was initially designed to record video clippings of games but can be used to capture any video.

You can use free apps like QuickTime (on Mac) or Xbox App (Windows), but, if you’re comparing different screen recording tools, make sure you get a screen recorder with sound recording and video editing options built-in. And you end up needing extra tools and software just to edit and share your videos.
