Short of knocking him out, Black Bolt was able to stop the Hulk from causing more destruction. In another encounter, the Skrull-Imposter Black Bolt (See #12) was able to use his voice to knock down the Hulk. However, the Hulk got back up and beat “Black Bolt” pretty handily.

Knowing he was outnumbered, Thanos killed Black Bolt in front of them, and the resulting blast from the force of his dying scream not only decimated the entire Celestial army but a good chunk of the planet in the process.

To unlock Black Bolt, players will need the help of the Asgardian Gods: Loki, Thor, Hela, and the incoming Sif and Heimdall at five stars. If you can’t unlock him between now and Thanksgiving, you won’t get another chance until April 2020.

Thor is generally stronger more durable and has great stamina. But they won’t be using these because black bolt’s first act would be to use his voice.

1 Would Lose To: Superman Superman has Black Bolt beat in every department. He’s faster, stronger, and way more durable. He’s a better fighter and while he may not have Black Bolt’s experience as a leader of a country, that’s pretty much the only place Bolt has him beat.

In theory Black Bolt (Blackagar Boltagon (Earth-616) ) does not. Or at least if he does he does not produce a sound when coughing or sneezing. A part of this control was training himself to never never unintentionally utter a sound… for fear of the destruction it would cause.

All of these skills are on full display when Ghost Rider beat up an entire team of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in Avengers #214. The true highlight of the brawl came during his showdown with the God of Thunder, when not only is he able to dodge Thor’s hammer, but he hops on his bike and outraces it to boot.
