Mass Effect 3 ending – Control (Blue) This second Mass Effect 3 ending is available by taking the left hand path in the Crucible, towards the blue light then grabbing the two beams. This will cause Shepard to sacrifice themselves to merge with the Reapers, taking command of their forces and leading them away.

It is entirely up to the player’s interpretation to determine which ending they feel is the best conclusion for Shepard’s story, but the choice to control the Reapers offers the most satisfying ending to the fight for survival in the Milky Way galaxy.

In the Perfect Ending, it is implied that Commander Shepard survives, along with the entire Normandy squad and all of planet Earth.

In almost every ending of Mass Effect 3, Shepard will die in exchange for stopping the Reapers. Both the “Control” and “Synthesis” endings will always lead to Shepard’s death, as his consciousness will need to be infused into the Crucible for them to work.

To fix this you can install an ASI mod that will disable the mouse in the game. Install the ASI Binkw32 bypass from the Tools menu. Then go to Mod Management > ASI Mod Manager, and install Mouse Disabler. To remove this ASI, simply click remove it within the ASI Mod Management window.

In Mod Manager, go to Mod Management > Interface Scaling/Controller mod compatibility pack generator (ME3). A compatibility pack will be generated if one is required for the installed UI mods.
