He is a fairly small dog and foam isn’t broken down by stomach acid so, especially if he swallowed it whole or in big chunks, if this has occured within the last two hours I recommend inducing vomiting by giving him 3% hydrogen peroxide orally at 1ml per pound (one tablespoon per 15 pounds).

If you know or suspect your dog has eaten a large amount of couch foam, and/or if he develops any of these symptoms, then call the vet immediately. This could be a life-threatening medical emergency.
