Twinges and cramps during the two week wait are common. Try not to panic: your womb is in overdrive. In fact, those feelings may mean implantation.

What Do Implantation Cramps Feel Like? The sensation is different from person to person, but in most cases, they feel like mild cramps, usually dull and aching, or light twinges. Some people also describe feeling a prickling, tingling, or pulling sensation.

Baby flutters during early pregnancy Seasoned moms may feel movement as early as 13 weeks. If you’re feeling anything fluttering down in your tummy around this time, it’s possible that your baby is grooving around in there. Baby’s kicks are also called quickening.

Fatigue or tiredness Feeling tired and fatigued during the 7 days after embryo transfer and till the delivery date (and even beyond) is a normal symptom of pregnancy. However, you may feel more sleepy in the early pregnancy days when your levels of progesterone increase.

Morning sickness or nausea typically start in the second month of pregnancy, so it’s not a symptom women normally experience in the 2-week wait after a fresh or frozen embryo transfer. Many women who feel nauseous say they feel sick to their stomach around two weeks after missing their period.

The only reliable diagnostic test to establish the success or failure of assisted reproduction treatment is the pregnancy test. It can be done either in urine or through a blood test to determine the level of β-hCG hormone (“beta”).

About 11-14 days after implantation, a woman’s hCG levels are high enough to start causing early pregnancy symptoms.
