History of “KAMAZ-master” team – it is a history of entrance and development of KAMAZ business as well as promoting the global brand of automobile plant on international automotive markets by means of unique instrument – a sports team .

Considered by many as one of the strongest trucks in the world, KAMAZ not only carries cargo. It’s an indispensable helper for the military and police, while also being a multiple champion of the DAKAR rally.

The truck tractor for difficult operating conditions KamAZ-65206 is a modern truck tractor with a 6×4 wheel arrangement, developed in collaboration with the Daimler company. This car is intended for transportation of goods as part of a road train weighing up to 44 tons.

Entries in the T1 and T2 classes—the event’s speediest cars and SUVs—are now restricted to 112 miles per hour while vehicles in the T3, T4, and T5 categories, which include light prototypes, UTVs, and trucks, are limited to 81 mph.

Reliable and comfortable, it was both good in transportation of cargo as well as soldiers. The KAMAZ-4310 with mounted anti-air gun became a powerful weapon, perfect in covering transport columns.

Today on the board of the team, totally formed from KAMAZ sportsmen, are 5 World Cup holders, 16 Masters of Sports of international class, 12 Honored Masters of Sports of Russia, 16 Masters of Sports.

In 1996, the team won this prestigious race for the first time. Since then, the team participated 29 times in the race and won 17 times in it (including the Dakar 2020). In addition, KAMAZ-master is the eight-time winner of the international Silk Way Rally, the permanent leader of the Russian Rally-Raid Championships.
